About
Hi. I'm Brian.
I am an anti-oppressive social worker with 17 years' US and international nonprofit experience in development and fundraising, community, volunteer, and corporate engagement, marketing and communications, program management, and events.
I am an instinctive, inclusive leader who is passionate about inspiring, equipping, and activating people to share their talents and resources to advance social justice and equity outcomes.
I am a proud Angeleno and serve as Director of Development, Major Gifts & Individual Giving at the Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House, a "home away from home" for critically ill children and their families during the most difficult moments of their lives.
I am a lifelong Bruin, with a BA in Psychology and Spanish from UCLA, including a year at the University of Barcelona. I earned my Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) at Columbia University in New York City, where I specialized in program development and community mobilization.
I am a connector, cook, and gardener, and am learning (every day) how to be the best parent I can be to two amazing kids, with my incredible partner, Jennie Rosenbaum.
